Another early morning start with the trusty tripod and Canon 70D trekking through the sand and over the rocks at the secluded Charlesworth Bay in Coffs Harbour.
First thoughts as I set foot on the sand were “this is looking like it’s going to be a good one” – not long after finding out I wasn’t wrong. Straight to my favourite place up on the rocks edge, the morning was progressing nicely and then out of nowhere the sun was readying to peak over the horizon – this made for the perfect amount of light to set up a one second exposure with the vibrancy clearly not restraining itself in the shot.
After nearly being washed away from the high tide, sliding down the jagged rocks and nearly dropping my gear in the ocean I think it was safe to say it was time to hit it.
